For your school’s IT
PerfectMyMusic is an online music curriculum that students and teachers use in a web browser. For it to work at your school:
These addresses were last checked on October 14, 2026.
Web addresses to allow
- perfectmymusic.app: Both apps (the teacher’s and the student’s), the lessons and the questions, with the lessons’ piano and lettering.
- storage.googleapis.com: The course’s own files at storage.googleapis.com/pmm-cdn: its lettering, the music engraver and the piano and other sounds.
- fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com: The video lessons’ lettering, only until the video lessons are rebuilt.
- perfectmymusicapp.firebaseapp.com: Sign-in and saving work run on Google’s Firebase; this address is named in the app’s own code.
- identitytoolkit.googleapis.com, securetoken.googleapis.com and firestore.googleapis.com: Where Google’s sign-in and database answer.
- accounts.google.com: Teachers who press Continue with Google.
Backups only
The course asks for these only when its own copy does not answer, so a school that blocks them loses nothing unless PerfectMyMusic’s own storage is down.
- cdn.jsdelivr.net, unpkg.com and www.verovio.org: Public copies of the music engraver, for the lessons and the questions.
- esm.sh and smpldsnds.github.io: Public copies of the piano the questions play: its code (also from cdn.jsdelivr.net) and its notes.
- fonts.gstatic.com: Google’s copy of the course’s lettering.
- unpkg.com: Public copies of the apps’ building blocks (React and Babel), asked for only if their copy on perfectmymusic.app does not load.
- www.gstatic.com: Google’s copy of the sign-in code, asked for only if its copy on perfectmymusic.app does not load.
- perfectmymusic.com: Let it through, and do not quarantine it: noreply@perfectmymusic.com sends teachers their sign-in links, and support@perfectmymusic.com sends invitations to teachers and answers questions. Students get no email.
Everything else
- Nothing to install: Both apps run in an up-to-date web browser: Chrome, Safari or Firefox, on a Chromebook, a laptop, a desktop computer or an iPad. No extension, plug-in or app.
- Sound: Student devices must be allowed to play sound in the browser: lessons have sound, and some questions are answered by ear. The course starts its sound when a student presses Play.
- A new site: Some web filters block newly registered or uncategorized sites. If students cannot open perfectmymusic.app, add it to the filter by name, and perfectmymusic.com for its email.
- Privacy: What the course keeps about students and teachers, and who can see it: perfectmymusic.app/privacy.
